Frequently asked questions
Can I apply while working for a company outside Germany?
Yes. That is what the Germany Opportunity Card is designed for: remote work for employers or clients based outside Germany. We check that your contract and income meet the current rules.
Can my family join me?
Many digital nomad routes allow a spouse and children to join, usually with a higher income requirement. We confirm the current family rules for Germany on your call.
How long does the Germany Opportunity Card take?
Processing times change with the season and the workload at the embassy or immigration office. We give you a realistic, current timeline on your first call and track your case until the decision.
How much does Eurofly charge?
Your first call is €30 for 30 minutes. After that we quote a fixed package fee for the Germany Opportunity Card before you pay anything more. Government and embassy fees are separate.
Rules change often. This guide was last reviewed on September 26, 2026. Income thresholds, fees and document rules are set by the authorities and can change without notice; we confirm the current requirements on your call.
